An opportunity exists for an experienced support representative with SciLog, Inc. This position offers the right candidate a key position in the support organization and will provide opportunities for career development and growth.

The Technical Service and Support Representative is responsible for meeting and exceeding his or her assigned geographic and product line customer care forecasts. This will be accomplished by delivering client support and by effectively establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client base. The Technical Service and Support Representative is responsible for answering technical questions, training customers and our channel partners. The Technical Service and Support Representative will also be responsible for developing and continually updating our Customer Relationship Manager System. The Technical Service and Support Representative has additional responsibility for seeking out new business potentials for SciLog, Inc. and engaging all appropriate resources to achieve maximum results for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support all products in assigned geographic territory by using exceptional support skills to exceed customer expectations.
  • Work weekly in support of our channel partners to close sales.
  • Continually promote SciLog’s breadth of product offerings on all calls to achieve maximum client solution satisfaction and greater sales potentials for the company.
  • Participate as a team member in all assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.
  • Consistently (daily), update the company CRM with new quotations or potentials for new business.
  • Pursue new selling opportunities and correctly identify same on all quotation submissions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree with emphasis in the Life Sciences, strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech marketplace with a concentration on downstream bioprocessing, liquid handling, filtration, and automation is required. A minimum of 1 years of technical support or sales required.
  • Must have an exceptional understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory products and downstream bioprocessing applications.
  • Knowledge of sensor, liquid handling and TFF technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical capability and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and influence others to achieve results.
  • Self-motivated with bias for action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities supporting 30 outbound calls per day.
  • Evidence of professional presentation skills via telephone, website and video conferencing.
  • Outstanding follow up and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to accomplish team goals. Expected to be available for travel if needed to support on-site training sessions as requested by the VP Sales and Marketing
  • Specialized knowledge of capital procurement processes within government, biopharmaceutical, educational, clinical, and industrial markets
  • Good proficiency in PC software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Current US Drivers License and Passport
