Filterability Studies, Filter Size Determination and Filter Scale-up Studies. The FilterTec Plus has expanded upon the capabilities of the FilterTec to handle up to three electronic balances and control three pump heads simultaneously. This product allows for testing of three identical filters at the same rates or three different filters at the same pressure. Parallel processing of a solutions through three filters provides statistical verification of filter capacity. The FilterTec Plus is compatible with all manufacturers' Filters.

FilterTec Plus provides data acquisition and data trending of filtration parameters for instantaneous filtration and status overview. SciDoc documentation package captures all data in an Excel sheet and populates graphs in real-time. No need for operator writing, copying and calculations. The SciDoc Documentation software with customized macros is used to summarize the filtration data (in Excel) and create graphical representations of your data on your PC with the press of a button.

  • Pump Head, Motor Options & Flow Rate:
    1. 3 MasterFlex Easyload II peristaltic pump head (Thin Walled Tubing) with 8 RPM motor. Flow rate*: 0.03 to 24 ml/min.
    2. 3 MasterFlex Easyload II peristaltic pump head (Thin Walled Tubing) with 160 RPM motor. Flow rate*: 0.5 to 554 ml/min.
    3. 3 MasterFlex Easyload II peristaltic pump head (Thin Walled Tubing) with 600 RPM motor. Flow rate*: 2 to 1515 ml/min.
    4. 3 MasterFlex Easyload II peristaltic pump head (Thick Walled Tubing) with 600 RPM motor. Flow rate*: 59 to 2258 ml/min.
  • Pressure Range: Maximum pressure output at tandem peristaltic pump head is 45 psi.
  • Pressure Displayed: Pressure displayed with a resolution of 0.1 psi; choice of bar, psi, kpa
  • Pressure Sensors: Accommodates up to three (3) disposable pressure sensors. The calibrated pressure range is 0-60 psi. Can be re-calibrated using an external pressure reference source.
  • FilterTec Balance Options:
    1. Balance with capacity of 2,000 grams x 0.01 g resolution included with FilterTec CP-8.
    2. Balance with capacity of 8100 grams x 0.1 g resolution included with all other FilterTec models
