The ChemTec provides programmable feed scheduling for chemical reactors, bioreactors and fermenters either by weight or volume. Both linear and exponential feed strategies can be readily implemented. When interfaced with an electronic balance, the ChemTec can also be used to maintain vessel or reactor weight in diafiltration or perfusion applications, it can also act as a pH controller for pH maintenance or simple end point titration. The ChemTec can regulate feed or trigger alarms based on external sensors such as SciPres, SciTemp, as well as 3rd party analog outputs such as a Wedgewood turbidity sensor. It can also be interfaced with a 6 port rotary valve for automated solution handling.
The ChemTec is available with your choice of pump heads: peristaltic, piston & magnetic gear models. Each ChemTec includes the on-board controller, choice of motor size and choice of pump head type. Optional: choice of balance/scale for metering by weight; 6-port rotary valves; pressure sensor for monitoring pressure; printer for data collection; SciDoc for data compilation into Excel spreadsheets or graphs.

When sold with SciDoc, documentation capabilities include several important pumping parameters such as time, flow rate, cumulative volume, balance weight, pressure, temperature, etc… The automatic documentation and alarm system allows the user to focus on other tasks while the system is running.
The SciDoc Documentation Package, used in conjunction with the ChemTec, displays, calculates compiles, and documents 10 operating parameters; providing you with an instantaneous overview of your metering progress and status. This Excel based application also automatically populates graphs in real time. The ChemTec gives you the information & control you need to optimize your metering for maximized accuracy.
